Philips today introduced a new energy saving monitor namely the Brilliance 241P4LRY. Using this 24-inch monitor, you can greatly reduce your electricity bills by up to 80%. The Philips Brilliance 241P4LRY adopts the ErgoSensor technology that will turn off the monitor when no one is not in front of it. This smart monitor will also advise the user on neck posture and optimal viewing distance. It features WLED backlighting, a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 5 ms response time, a 250 cd/m2 maximum brightness, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 (20,000,000:1 SmartContrast), D-Sub, DVI and DisplayPort connectivity, four USB 2.0 ports, two 1.5 W speakers, and a stand enabling height, swivel, tilt and rotation adjustment.
The Philips Brilliance 241P4LRY will be launched next month for 339 Euro ($452).
